Rowallan Poll Dorset Stud Annual Sale 2016 results

Thursday 8th September 2016 saw a large crowd gather at Crowther for Rowallan Poll Dorset Stud’s 10th Annual on Farm Sale. Many familiar and loyal faces along with a few new ones were in attendance.

Buyers

A new Top Price of $2700 was paid by Steve and Liz Boland of “Rosedale Plains”, Tubbul.

Volume buyers included Hugh Thackaray, “Woornack” Young who put together 10 rams to a top of $2100, with an average of $1510.
Glen Butt also purchased 10 to a top of $1600, with an average of $1220. Cavan Station, Yass purchased 7 to a top of $1300 at an average of $950. Gary Owen Past, Binalong took 8 to a top of $2000 with an average of $1675. B and D Corkhill, Boorowa took 6 to a top of $1600, with an average of $1385. These buyers were all represented by their agent Phill Butt from Butt Livestock, Yass.
Spring Bank Unit Trust, “Sunbury” Boorowa purchased 9 to a top of $2000, with an $1280 average. Dessava Pty Ltd, “Goba Creek” Boorowa purchased 7 to a top of $2200, at an average of $1415, purchasing under the watchful eye of their agent Craig Oliver from James P Keady and Co, Cowra.

Also in attendance on the day was Martin Preuss from Ceva, the makers of Regulin, who are the Major Sponsors of our sale.
