Rowallan Poll Dorsets held its 11th Annual on Property sale at Crowther on Thursday 7th September 2017. The sale was again well attended with both returning and new clients. The weather was not quite as nice as usual but we thankfully didn’t get the strong winds that have been blowing lately, which resulted in a relatively pleasant day.
There were six rams sold to the Top Price this year of $2300. Two of these were purchased by GT and EF Southwell of Rye Park. Two were part of a selection of 12 rams purchased by The Thackeray Family “Woornack” Young who averaged $1633. One top priced ram was purchased by Gary Owen Pastoral, Binalong, who bought 9 in total for an average of $1666. The last top priced ram was purchased by Greenvalley Properties, Eurongilly, who put 6 rams together in total with an average of $1800.
Volume buyers included 25 rams purchased by The Medway Family Partnership, Yass, to a top of $1400 with an average of $980. Eulo Pastoral, Harden, put together 16 rams to a top of $1400 and an average of $1056. DJ and RD Sykes, Binalong, purchased 9 rams to a top of $1600 and an average of $1378. Cavan Station, Yass, purchased 8 rams to a top of $1400 for an average of $1162. SJ and CA Deasey, Young, purchased 4 rams to a top of $2000 for an average of $1975. The sale average was $1318.
